Symptom : Screen freezes
SCREEN FREEZES AFTER THE PROGRESS BAR STOPS LOADING DURING SYSTEM BOOT-UP
System Settings:
1. Check if this occurred after a system/firmware update
Troubleshooting:
1. If the system froze after an update
-Boot the system into Explorer mode and run the “UpdateProgram.exe” file
*Windows CE Explorer mode boot-up procedure:
> Obtain “NK.bin” file and copy it into the root directory of the SD Card
> Insert the SD Card back into the Control Box and turn the power on
> Check if the “SD_CARD” text appears during boot-up on the left side of the screen
2. If the system froze during normal operation
-Steps required are the same as above, however, if this problem occurred during normal use possible cause is that the NAND flash memory had corrupted (missing/broken); Request for repair or replacement
