Symptom : No sound from factory speaker
NO SOUND (NO OUTPUT FROM FACTORY SPEAKERS VIA AUX MODE)
System Settings:
1. Insert music file (MP3) into a USB flash drive
2. Load MUSIC application from the main menu
3. On the top right, check if the speaker icon is marked “X”. If not, disable it by tapping on the speaker icon (this step necessary to test the factory speakers only by muting the built-in speaker)
4. Select music file to play from the USB flash drive
5. Exit MUSIC and load RADIO (Built-in speaker test procedure)
Troubleshooting:
1. Checking the speaker cable connectors
-On the SMART cable ensure the PCB connectors are secured with a “click” when locking it
2. Testing the amplifier voltage from the main unit’s AUX output
-Since it is difficult to measure voltage coming from the AUX output with a standard voltmeter, visually inspect external settings and connections
3. Inspection of external system settings
-Remove all device(s) connected to the factory AUX/USB media input port
If none of the guidelines above fixed the issue, please contact our technical support team for proper determination of replacement part(s)
