Troubleshooting.

1. Check if your LCD touchscreen cable is inserted into the Trip Interface BOard. Application may vary. It is the cable coming directly from the back of the LCD screen. See install manual for further detail.

2. If the touchscreen cable is connected, and it's still not functioning, please check the pin connectors on the cable and make sure they are properly secured.'

3. Check the Trip Interface Board and make sure you are receiving two LED lights on the side of the Ribbon Cable Insert.

4. You can also check if the there are any smudges on the screen seeing as our LCD screens are very sensitive to pin-point touch.

5. If all steps above have been checked and LCD is still not responsive, please contact Unavi Tech-Support for a Return Authorization due to a defective unit.

NOTE:

This problem will occur if during the installation, the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery was not disconnected. It can cause an IMI Voltage spike which can cause the Trip Interface Board to blow. Please follow instructions on the installation manual.
