Symptom : TPMS light came on after built-in

TPMS LIGHT CAME ON AFTER INSTALLING UNAVI SYSTEM

System Settings:
1. Check the position of the GPS antenna
2. Check the position of the Control Box

Troubleshooting:

1. Remove Bezel including LCD Screen.

2. Disconnect the Stock Radio from the T-Harnest (Unavi Smart Cable).

3. Upon removing the Stock Radio, disconnect the USB/SD CARD pin connector from the USB/SD CARD control box located in the glove box.

4. You will need to take the Data Cable out.

5. Upon removing the data cable, get 20g ground wire, heat-shield tape (3M).

6. Start wrapping the heat-shield tape around the base of the connectors and place the ground under one layer.

7. Make sure the data cable is wrapped from start to end just at the tip of the connectors (Please note the GPS femal connector does not need to be wrapped). 

8. When wrapping, you need to wrap all two cables into one cable with the 20g ground wire comming off in able to ground to the vehicles chassy.

9. Once you've grounded the 20g wire and re-connect the Data Cable into the USB/SD CARD control box, you may re-install the stock radio.

10. Upon completing the re-install, turn the vehicle on and drive it around for about 5-10 minutes and the TPMS light will deactivate.
