Symptom : No GPS signal
NO GPS SIGNAL
System Settings:
1. Ensure navigation software operates normally
Troubleshooting:
1. Run NAVIGATION > click SYSTEM > select GPS STATUS
-Status is normal if more than 5 satellites are shown in use; Less than 5 satellites apparent in areas where GPS reception is very poor
-Check GPS antenna connectivity
-Relocate GPS antenna facing the sky through a non-metallic enclosure
-Ensure GPS signal is not being affected by window tints
2. If the GPS STATUS shows 0 satellites in use (in an open area) for more than 5 minutes, the GPS antenna is deemed defective; Request for replacement
3. If all of the above have been properly checked and the GPS STATUS still cannot detect any satellites, a defective main unit, GPS or related cables is the likely cause (please contact our technical support team for further troubleshooting)
