Symptom : Backup camera does not come on
BACKUP CAMERA DOES NOT COME UP WHEN IN REVERSE
Troubleshooting:
- Put the vechilce in reverse. The backup camera uses the reverse trigger wire as its power source. when the camera has power the display should automaticly switch to the camera
- If the camera doesnt come on the first thing you want to check is the wiring to the reverse trigger.
- If using 't' taps to make the connection you may want to switch to a military wrap or solder connection that usually offers a much better conductivity
- If after checking the connection make sure the camera is connected securly to the connector as shown.
