Howling/squealing noise from speaker when USB device is connected [Update]

The following video clip was recorded with the squealing noise issue after the Unavi system was removed from the vehicle and radio reverted back to its factory settings.  This clearly demonstrates the "before and after" results and indicates that Unavi system is not the cause of the problem.  Rather, it discovered the defects in the vehicle or the iPhone 4S device as tested on this video by aggravating the radio with extra voltage. It is worth noting that the voltage and ground noise of the iPhone 4S was significantly unstable when plugged into the factory USB/AUX input compared to the iPhone 3G.

This is a hit-or-miss and a rare occurrence among the 2011-2012 Hyundai Tucson models.   Although the primary cause has yet to be determined, we have narrowed it down to the following: 1) the iPod cable, 2) Hyundai's multimedia jack, 3) the factory head unit and related cables, or 4) the hardware device itself inserted through USB.

SOLUTION:
Unavi did figure out a way to prevent the issue by cutting off the 5V wire on the factory main harness which powers up the USB device, and instead, supplying that power converted from a 12V source through our modified cable.  If you are experiencing the same symptom, please contact our technical support team to assist you with obtaining this customized cable.
