Firmware Update Procedure
Not sure if you need an update? Please don't hesistate to ask our Technical Support team.
Step #1. Eject SD Card from the UNAVI Control Box and access the card using Windows PC.
Step #2. (If applicable) Delete the existing "UPDATE_USA" folder, "UpdateProgram.exe" file and "Z80" folder & "Release_note" file (for X5/X6 models if applicable) in the SD Card.
Step #3. Download the proper update file from the Firmware Updates page and choose the proper Unavi system model.
Step #4. Extract all files and copy them into the SD Card’s main directory.
Step #5. Insert the SD Card back into the Control Box and turn ON the ignition switch.
Step #6. From the main menu, click on the “SETTINGS” icon.
Step #7. Select “PROGRAM” (for X2/X3) or "System Update" tab (for X5/X6).
Step #8. Click “Program Update” (Make sure the power isn't turned off during the update procedure).
Step #9. Once the update is complete, system will automatically reboot.
Step #10. Shut the power OFF, wait approximately 10 seconds and turn it back ON.
