Clock not showing correct time

Clock is not displaying correct time (Navigation or Main Menu screen)


Symptom:

The main symptom of this issue is that the clock is consistently off by an inconsistent amount of time more often correlating to the length of time that the system is off. So far we have had reports in only the Sonata and Cruze models . We are working on finalizing a software update that would update the clock with the GPS antenna without having to open navigation every time. In the mean time please try resetting system settings as directed below and if problem is not solved or persists please email or give us a call.


System Settings:

1. Check clock setting in Navigation menu:

  • Open Navigation
  • Tap Settings
  • Tap the right arrow once
  • Tap Timezone
  • Make sure time zone is correct
  • If clock is off by 1 or 2 hours use DST(Daylight Savings Time) +1/+2 to adjust the time as needed
  • The clock on the main menu also has a DST +1/+2 option that you can use by tapping on the "DST Off" text above the hour of the clock
