Changing Time & Date (Navigation Map, Main Menu, & Radio Trip Screen)

Symptom: Wrong time, and date; incorrect time zone settings (off by 1,2 or 3 hours)

System Settings:

1. All units vary. Units such as the Genesis Coupe, Genesis Sedan, Tucson, 2011 Sonata CDC, and the Chevy Cruze all have a time setting on the Radio Trip Screen display menu as well.

2. Please make sure your vehicle is on "Key On" in order to activate the GPS signal and have the time automatically adjusted when it pings. Troubleshooting:

Troubleshooting:

1. To change the time & date in Navigation screen or map please:

- Go to Navigation_Navigation Main Menu_Settings_Time and Date

- From Time and Date option in Navigation settings, you can select your time zone, change the date, and add 1,2, or 3 hours for daylight savings time (DST+1,+2, +3, or off). Once you have properly adjusted the time in navigation, it should automatically update each time the vehicle is in "Key On". The time and date is formatted in your region and pings off the GPS antenna. 

2. On applicable models, in the Unavi Main Menu, press on the clock located on the upper right or left hand corner of the screen.

3. It's Going come up with a Clock setting menu which will allow you to adjust the Daylight Savings Time (DST). 

4. On applicable models, in the Radio Trip Screen, go to Setup_Settings_Time and you may adjust the time as needed. (Please note, when under Setup in Radio Trip Screen, you will have to use the "Tune up or down" button and "Enter" to scroll and select your option.

 

NOTE:

Time will automatically adjust when the vehicle is in Key On after it pings from a satelite near your area.
